We are excited to announce an opening for a dynamic IT Service Desk Engineer to join our innovative IT team. This challenging full-time role is essential in providing top-tier technical support and ensuring an outstanding user experience for our company’s colleagues.
The Core of Your Role
As an IT Service Desk Engineer, you are the first point of contact for all IT-related queries and issues. Your in-depth knowledge of IT processes and exceptional problem-solving skills will ensure rapid and efficient resolution of IT incidents, contributing directly to the operational excellence of our company.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line investigation and diagnosis of all IT incidents and service requests.
- Manage incidents to resolution, within agreed service levels, across a variety of platforms and technologies.
- Support the maintenance and updating of the Incident Management system.
- Offer technical guidance to users to maximise the efficiency and effectiveness of systems.
- Contribute to IT project work when required, including deployments and upgrades.
- Work collaboratively with other IT functions to ensure comprehensive support coverage.
- Compile and maintain relevant documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Continuously work on personal development to ensure up-to-date industry knowledge.
We Are On the Lookout For:
- Proven experience in an IT Service Desk or Technical Support role.
- Strong understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise workload in a high-pressure environment.
- A relevant IT certification (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional) is desirable.

Additional Information:
The IT Service Desk Engineer will occasionally need to work outside of normal working hours, including evenings and weekends, to perform system upgrades or resolve critical incidents. Flexibility and a commitment to team collaboration in achieving department goals will be valued attributes in the successful candidate.
