Purpose:

The role of Head of Data Science is to build and lead a data team towards the development of commercial insights and customer-focused products and services that fully leverage our IoT solutions. Data is central to Cloudfm Group’s growth strategy and requires talented and energised people who can support business and product development all the way from interest and engagement to deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Cloudfm’s Data Science team, growing and developing a diverse team of analysts to deliver clear, relevant, and actionable insights from our IT system and IoT solutions.
• Define the Data Strategy and collaborate with developers and engineers to ensure the deep understanding and integrity of the raw data being collected.
• Visualisation and transposition of data to ‘common language’ ecosystem within Cloudfm.
• Communicate data models to business audiences including senior leaders, customers and clients.
• Leverage data visualisation tools and techniques to demonstrate patterns, behaviours, and exceptions.
• Own the partnership with the Computer Science department at the University of Essex and other educational institutions. An appreciation and interest of cutting-edge research and new techniques within the discipline.
• Advance the Data department in line with anticipated commercial business growth

Specialist Knowledge Required:

• Substantial experience in data management and the commercial delivery of data
• Commercial data-based Project Management Experience
